the J-wear fibres

Cool & comfortable:

Organic cotton

Organic cotton lessens the impact on the environment, as it uses natural processes and fertilizers that are free from toxic chemicals. It is 80% rain-fed, reducing the pressure on local water sources.

Organic cotton is fairly traded and regulated, protecting the lives of farmers and their families, while creating a healthy and sustainable farming future.

Climate-conscious:

Recycled polyester

Using recycled polyester (plastic bottles) reduces our overall carbon footprint and considers our climate. Recycled polyester creates 75% fewer COâ‚‚ emissions than virgin polyester and lowers the use of non-renewable fossil fuel extraction.

Organic cotton produces a 46% reduction in global warming
potential compared to coventional cotton

J-Wear core fabric:

Cotton, Organic, Recycled, EcoMade

Not just any Chinos, Jacket or Waistcoat material… Our high-performance J-wear CORE fabric combines organic cotton and recycled fibres.

LYCRA® Brand for great freedom of movement in wear, natural fibres ensure coolness and a special finish gives enhanced durability (our tough cotton treatment) that increases the life of each garment.

J-Wear cool cotton:

A technical fabric developed for garments that are worn next to the skin. Keeping the wearer cool and comfortable is a number one requirement for hospitality shirts and this is met by our cotton-rich fabric. The J-wear Cool Cotton has been developed using organic cotton and COOLMAX® to keep the wearer cool and dry, combined with LYCRA® Fibre for great freedom of movement in wear.

J-Wear cool max:

Our eco-technical fabric developed for garments that are worn close to the skin and then enhanced for tunics and dresses. For hospitality housekeeping uniforms, cotton-rich comfort and cooling properties are always top of the list. The J-wear Cool Cotton Max fabric has been developed using organic cotton and Lycra® T400® EcoMade to give comfort stretch and wicking function to keep the wearer cool and dry.

Our performance blend of organic cotton and polyester has been developed for the most perfect polo product. The J-wear Pique Plus fabric has extra special finishes to give, moisture wicking (breathability) and quick dry performance and is tested to ensure UPF 50 to protect staff.

A modern indigo denim fabric that uses primarily organic and recycled cotton with stretch for comfort, but which at the same time keeps its shape. Our denim products are finished using innovative water-free technology.
